James "Jim" Quinn

James “Jim” Dale Quinn, 66 of Hacker Valley passed away at home on Thursday, February 25, 2016. He was born September 2, 1949 in Butcher Mountain to Ralph and Gladys Lamb Quinn and was a lifelong resident of Webster County. He was a self-employed logger, a member of the NRA, and an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed local sports including softball, baseball, and volleyball. He coached Hacker Valley Women’s Softball for an 18-0 season.

Jim is survived by his son James Aaron (Brittney Anderson) Quinn of Hacker Valley; daughter Andrea (Derek Bailey) Quinn of Smithville; and brothers and sisters Robert Quinn of Hacker Valley, Joe (Patricia) Quinn of Hacker Valley, Sue McKissic of Hacker Valley, Carl “Buck” Quinn of Ohio, and Snap Bennett of Summersville. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers John, Cotton, and Bark Quinn.

No Services will take place as it was Jim’s choice for cremation to take place.
