James Allen Parton

James Allen Parton, 63 of Webster Springs passed away on Monday, May 20, 2024 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born July 29, 1960 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Larry L. and Drew Massie Parton. He served in Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri in the United States Army Corp of Engineers and enjoyed camping and fishing. He loved children and was a foster parent for many years.

In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his brother Larry Parton, Jr.; sisters Juanita Parton and Pat Ellis; and brother Bobby Creech. Left to cherish his memory are his wife Carmen Ramos Parton; children Shaun Hoover, Ronald (Sara) Hoover, Jason (Haley) Hoover, Christopher Parton, Megan Parton, Shay Parton, Lila Parton, and Dustin Parton; brother Rick Parton; sisters Shawna (Mike) Olivarez, Frances (Rick) Chitty, and Winona Powell; brother George Creech; his mom Jeanne Parton; his best friend in the world Leonard Lowther; several grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends to mourn his passing.

In keeping with James’ wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held at this time.
