Inez Mae Tracy Life, 94 of Webster Springs went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, December 07, 2014 at Summersville Regional Medical Center following a short illness. She was born April 16, 1920 in Webster Springs to William and Angela Nettie Tracy and was a lifelong resident of Webster County. During World War II, she worked for General Electric in Baltimore and was the first cook at the Diana Elementary School. She loved going to church and attended Union Valley Union Mission Church. She also loved making quilts and going to the Senior Citizens. Inez was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband Novel Life; precious daughter Cathy Mae Life Mann; sisters Jewel McCourt and Areta Parker; and brothers Roy Tracy and Denver Tracy. Left to cherish her memories and her legacy of life are her daughter Carol L. Green of Webster Springs; granddaughter Angie (husband Glenn) Morris; grandsons Michael (wife Jennifer) Cowger, Mark (wife Angie) Cowger, Jeffrey (wife Kelli) Mann, Adam (wife Jill) Mann, and Joshua (wife Naomi) Mann; sisters Zana Freeman, Martha Cole, Winifred Skidmore, Louise Tracy, and Norma Knight; brother William Tracy, Jr.; 11 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; son-in-law Darrell Mann; sister-in-law Fonda Carpenter; several nieces and nephews; and many dear friends. Friends may join the family for visitation on Friday, December 12, 2014 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home. Funeral Services to celebrate Inez' life will be held at 1:00 PM with Rev. Curt Davis and Rev. Kenny Pritt officiating. Interment will follow in Chestnut Grove Cemetery, Replete.
