Harley Dwain Hamrick, 65 of Hodam Mt. passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at his home with his wife by his side, following a long illness.  He was retired from the United States Marine Corp, a Vietnam Veteran, and owned and operated Hamrick's Small Engine Repair Shop for many years.  Harley was born May 4, 1948 in Lick Run to Betty Pugh Hamrick and Wilson Hamrick.  He was a lifelong resident of Webster County and enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years Shirley Sue Wilson Hamrick; sons Jeffrey of Camden-on-Gauley and Stephen of Hacker Valley; daughters Jennifer Ray of Bolair and Amanda Bachman of French Creek; daughter-in-law Tara Hamrick; sons-in-law Richard Ray and Jason Bachman; eight grandchildren Kaleb, Cody, Conner, Trenton, Tyler, Brody, Hunter, and Haley; his father Wilson of Wallace; brother Carlos Pugh; sisters Corenna and Patsy; and several half-brothers and sisters.  He was preceded in death by his mother Betty and his brother Carlos.

Friends may join the family for visitation on Sunday, June 30, 2013 from 6:00 to 7:00 at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home.  Funeral Services to Celebrate Harley's life will be held at 7:00 PM with Celebrant Robert McElwain officiating.  Interment will take place in Cutlip-Lick Run Cemetery.
