Hansford Jackson Hall, 83 of St. Albans, formerly of Webster Springs, went to be with the Lord on Friday, December 26, 2014 at the home of his daughter. He was born August 12, 1931 in Webster Springs to Emory and Nettie Perkins Hall and worked in construction the majority of his life. He attended Grace Baptist Temple in St. Albans and was a United States Army veteran. He enjoyed bowling, loved campers, RV's, and cars, enjoyed playing with and spending time with his grandchildren, spending time in the vegetable garden, and planting dogwood trees.
Hansford is survived by his wife Evelyn Perkins Hall; daughters Charlotte (husband Terry) Moffatt and Brenda (husband Ronnie) Smith; brothers Elmon Hall, Melvin (wife Sue) Hall, and Roger (wife Martha) Hall; sister Maxine Clutter; grandchildren Charles (wife Kelli) Cochran, Matthew (wife Elizabeth) Cochran, Mason (wife Jennifer) Cochran, Ashley Smith, and Corey (companion Kristen Bird) Smith; great-grandchildren Kyle Reynolds, Brandon May, Colin Cochran, Nicholas Carpenter, Logan Cochran, Madison Cochran, and Jackson Cochran; great-great-grandchildren Tyler May, Bella May, and Rylan Cochran; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Porter, Elzie, and Hinton Hall; and sister Genevieve Hall.
Friends may join the family for visitation on Monday, December 29, 2014 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home. Funeral Services to celebrate Hansford's life will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home with Rev. Kyle Hall officiating. Interment will follow in Miller Cemetery, Webster Springs.
