Gregory Lee Walker, 55, of Ashland, died Saturday morning, January 30th at his home following a sudden illness. Greg was born July 22, 1960 in Orange County, California, a son of Gary and Bonnie Donegan Walker. He was a business representative with NAPA Auto Parts and a 1978 graduate of Boyd County High School.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Todd Andrew Walker.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, include his wife, Giovanne Davis Walker. Brothers and sisters: Timothy Walker (Dale) of Richmond, KY, Carrie Ruff of Ashland, KY, Heather Estep of Willowood, Ohio, Patrick Walker of Greenwood, South Carolina, Megan McGuire (Gary) of Ironton, Ohio, and Nathan Walker (Shuang) of Ashland, KY. Children: Jeremy Walker (Hollie) of Ashland, KY, Tessa Walker of Ironton, Ohio, Joseph Walker (Amy) of Beckley, West Virginia, Karen Spencer, Robert Spencer, Jeffery Clevenger, Brittany Davis, Cecil Spencer and Bud Clevenger (Jennifer). 19 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins who all loved him dearly.
Visitation will be Tuesday, February 2nd at PRESTON FAMILY FUNERAL HOME from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Friends may join the family for visitation on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 from 11:00 to 12:00 with Funeral Services at 12 noon at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home with Rev.Wendell Gum officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery, Webster Springs.
