Gracie McCoy
January 27, 1925 — October 22, 2015
Gracie S. McCoy, 90, of Marmet, our angel, went home to be with Jesus on October 22, 2015. She was born on January 27, 1925 in Nettie to the late Howard and Levina Strader.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Ben McCoy; brothers, Telvy Strader and Harold Strader; dearly beloved sister, Myrtle Spriggs; and nephew, Howard Nicholas.
Gracie will be greatly missed by surviving family members who were dear to her heart, nephews, Robert Nicholas of Marmet, Dennis (Cindy) Nicholas of Elkview, Fred (Colette) Nicholas of Apopka, FL; niece, Freda (Rob) Davis of Eskdale; sister, Edith Butcher of Ashtabula, OH; and several other nieces and nephews.
Gracie retired from St. Francis Hospital in 1979. She was an angel sent from heaven above, a beautiful, positive, loving person to all who knew her. She no longer has pain or suffers from illness for she has gone home to begin eternal life.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at Fairview Cemetery, Nettie with Pastor Danny Moore officiating.
