Geraldine Clevenger, 69 of Webster Springs went home to meet the Lord on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at her home. She was born August 13, 1942 in Hodam to Orval O. and Letha M. Collins Eubank and was a shipping clerk for Maryland Cup Corp. before moving back to Webster County 13 years ago. She was a member of Bergoo Baptist Church where she was very active in church functions, she enjoyed Fenton glass, shopping, cooking, collecting birds, and spending as much time as she could with her family. Her world revolved around her Lord and her family.
Geraldine is survived by her husband Ralph; children Ferrell (Sally) Clevenger of Hagerstown, MD, Janet Clevenger of Webster Springs, Brenda Hetterich of Finksburg, MD, Barbara (David) Simmons of Littlestown, PA, Danny (Samantha) Clevenger of Erbacon, Shirley (David) Boteler of Westminster, MD, Onie (Katherine) Clevenger of Keymar, MD, and Linda (David) Breitenstein of Mohton, PA; grandchildren Theresa, Dale, Steven, Freddy, Amy, Tracey, Dwayne, Brittany, Bradley, Becky, Deanna, Jacob, Jessica, Sam, and Eric; great-grandchildren Manda and Seth; brother Charles Eubank; and sisters Shirley Eubank and Marlene Freytag. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Joe Eubank; and sister Jean Russell.
Friends may join the family for visitation on Monday, May 28, 2012 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home. Funeral Services to celebrate Geraldine's life will be held on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home with Rev. Bennie and Barbara Cowger officiating. Interment will follow in Hodam Creek Cemetery, Hacker Valley.
