Frederick Hines

Fredrick "Teddy" Hines Sr. of Diana died Saturday, May 7, 2011 at the age of 78 at Nicholas Nursing & Rehab Center.    Frederick was born February 10, 1933 in Diana, son of late Vernon Hines and Lucille Morris Hines. He was a life long resident of Diana and was a Baptist of Faith. He worked in furniture & upholstery factory in Baltimore, MD he also worked in saw mills. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and digging ginseng.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife; Sharlet Hines, two brothers; Dwayne and James Hines, and one sister; JoAnn Hines.

Fredrick is survived by his children; Fredrick (Lori) Hines, Jr. of Middle River, MD, with their three children; Fredrick (Dawn) Hines, Kaleigh, and Mark (Heather) Clark, and two great grandchildren, Wanda (Kenneth) Cobb with her five children; David, Annie, Wanda Mae, Kenney Jr, Dallas Ann, 17 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren of Diana, WV, Rennie (Lester) Hooker, her three children; Lorrana Mae, Laura and Brandy, 5 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild of Essex, MD, Loretta (Tom) Hay, her two children; Angela and Tom Jr. and two great grandchildren of Webster Springs, WV, Edgar "Buddy" (Charlene) Hines, his three children, Nichole (Jason) Miele, Tabatha (Jason) Maler, and Christopher Retz and four great granddaughters of Pasadena, MD, and Linda Riley and her three children; Jessica (Chris) Dudley, Sabrina and Mike Jr. and five great grandchildren. Along with his children and grandchildren, Fredrick was survived by his half brother; Harold (Janet) Hines, and step father; Frankie Morris of Diana, WV.

Services were held on May 13, 2011 at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home in Webster Springs with Rev. Cofer "Bud" Cochran officiating. Burial was at Cool Springs Cemetery in Diana, WV.
