Francis Cochran

Francis Cochran, 84, of Diana, passed away on Monday, October 26, 2015 at Webster County Memorial Hospital.

Born May 20, 1931 in Diana, he is the son of the late Hubert Ancil and Margaret (Riffle) Cochran.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dolly (Bennett) Cochran; sons, Gerald Stanley and Terry Lynn Cochran; daughter, Margaret Ann Cochran; sisters, Lorene Dotson, Kathleen Miller, Madeline Green and Anita Sharp.

Survivors include his children, Donnie Brown (Della) of OH, Dennis Cochran of Bolair, Thomas Cochran of OH, Alan Cochran (Vivian) of OH, Bruce Cochran (Chong) of FL, Carl Cochran of Diana, and Victoria Ann Cochran of FL; sixteen grandchildren, Charles Cochran (Kelli), Matthew Cochran (Elizabeth), Mason Cochran (Jennifer), Shawn Cochran, Tracy Dagget (Bo), Donna Brown, Nicholas Stanley, Jerry Cochran, Misty Hawkins (Aaron), Carla Lewis (Justin), Eric Cochran, Skyler Cochran, Emily Hall, Shawn Ryan (Fallon), Ashley Hughes (Dennis) and Amber Ramirez (Ricardo); twenty great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Andrew Cochran (Janet) of VA.

Francis was a hardworking man who enjoyed farming and coal mining and could do anything with equipment. He attended New Hope Community Church and Jumbo Comunity Church.

Services will be held 1PM on Thursday, October 29, 2015 with the Reverend Curt Davis officiating.  Burial will follow at the Cogar Cemetery, Guardian.

Friends may join the family for visitation on Wednesday night from 6-9.
