Felicia Ann Brake, 69 of Webster Springs passed away on Friday, April 4, 2014 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown. She was born October 9, 1944 in Akron, Ohio to Gerald R. and Nina Gibson and was a lifelong resident of Webster County. She was a cook at Webster County Memorial Hospital for many years and attended First Baptist Church of Webster Springs.
Felicia is survived by her son Brian R. Brake of Webster Springs; step-son James Burton Brake, Jr. of Akron, Ohio; step-daughter Swania L. (husband George) Barns of Akron, Ohio; and brothers Gerald Gibson of Nebraska and Michael, Joe, John, Robin, and James Gibson all of Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband James Burton Brake; step-son William M. Brake; brother David Gibson; and sister Nancy White.
Friends may join the family for visitation on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home. Funeral Services to celebrate Felicia's life will be held on Thursday at 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home with Rev. Steve White officiating. Interment will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Cowen.
