Eugene Bryce Deel

Eugene Bryce Deel, 55, of Cowen, passed away on May 23, 2024 at his home. 

Born in Cowen on August 24, 1968, he was the son of the late Dorothy (Armentrout) Lewis and her husband, Wilford “Duke” Lewis.

Eugene enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding 4-wheelers, and working on vehicles.  But, most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family, and friends that may as well have been family.  He was a kind, giving man that was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.   Eugene was a big man, with the biggest heart.

Left to cherish his memory are his sons: Kyler Deel, Dakota Deel, and Eugene Deel II (wife, Rachel); brothers: Terry Lewis (Lynn), Brian Lewis (Jennifer), Dean Armentrout, Darrell Deel (Terri), and Michael Henline (Pam); his companion, Mary Rose; a host of other relatives and an abundance of friends to mourn his passing.

In keeping with Eugene’s wishes, cremation will take place and no services will be held at this time.
