Edward McIe

Edward Eugene McIe, 54 of Webster Springs passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2014 in Fairmont at the home of his brother David. He was born July 23, 1960 in Webster Springs to Willie and Ruie Cogar McIe and was a certified electrician. He was a United States Marine and a lifelong resident of Webster County. He was Christian by faith and attended Guardian Union Mission Church. Edward is survived by his wife Victoria Hamrick McIe; daughters Ashley McIe, Sabrina McIe, and Ciera Hamrick; brothers Harold (wife Nancy) McIe, David (Jeannie) McIe, and Richard (wife Charleta) McIe; special friends Bob Hall, Delmas Cogar, and Wayne, Chuck, and Gary Jordan; nieces and nephews Edward Eugene Thomas McIe, Johnny McIe, Amy, Abby, Kevin, and Amber McIe, William and Daniel McIe; and many great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and brother Johnny.

Friends may join the family for visitation on Sunday, December 28, 2014 from 12:00 to 1:00 PM at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home. Funeral Services to celebrate Edward's life will be held at 1:00 PM with Rev. Curt Davis officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to assist with funeral arrangements.
