Edward Eugene House, 88 of Webster Springs passed away on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at Webster Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. He was born January 03, 1927 in Webster Springs to Harrison Ray and Ora Myrtle Arbogast House and was a lifelong resident of Webster County. He was a United States Army veteran serving in World War II and was a disabled auto worker. He attended First Baptist Church of Webster Springs and was a member of the Mason's and Shriner's Organization.
Ed is survived by his sister Kitty Underwood; several nieces and nephews; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Franklin House, Ralph House, and Hayward House.
Friends may join the family for visitation on Friday, January 23, 2015 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home. Funeral Services to celebrate Ed's life will be held at 2:00 PM with Pastor Steve White officiating. Interment will follow in Miller Cemetery, Webster Springs. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Webster Springs.
