Edith Robinson

Edith Grey Robinson, 89 of Martinsburg, formerly of Webster and Braxton County, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 24, 2014 at Heartland of Martinsburg. She was born November 05, 1924 in Salt Lick Creek, Braxton County, to John and Lovie Westfall and was Methodist by faith. She was an avid reader and enjoyed studying the Bible.
Edith is survived by her daughter Joyce Carol Bruce of Martinsburg; sister Amy Ashley of Clarksburg; grandson Roger Allen (wife Tina Marie) Robinson of Williamsport, MD; great-granddaughters Amber Nicole Brandt of Hacker Valley, Makayla Mae Robinson of Charleston, and Aryanna Marie Robinson of Williamsport; step-great-grandsons Brandon and Brett Barkdoll; and step-great-great-grandchildren Brandon and Breannah Barkdoll. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Buren Dorr Robinson whom she married May 22, 1946 in Cleveland; son James Edward Robinson who passed away in 1956; brothers Glen and Lynn Westfall; half-brother, Garsey Westfall, and sister Lalah Smith.
Friends may join the family for visitation on Friday, August 29, 2014 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home. Funeral Services to celebrate Edith's life will be held on Saturday at 2:00 PM at the Funeral Home with Sister Hope Westfall officiating. Interment will follow in Chestnut Grove Cemetery, Replete.
