Doyal Hansford Cogar

Doyal Hansford Cogar, 68 of Webster Springs passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at Webster Memorial Hospital. He was born May 31, 1957 in Webster Springs to the late Adrian Arden and Lula Bell Cogar.

Doyal was a custodian for the Webster County School Board retiring after more than 30 years of service. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, wood working, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his former wife and mother of his children, Jennifer Williams Cogar; brothers: Wyaman Cogar and Keith Cogar; and sister Linda Williams.

Left to cherish his memory are his children: Andrew (Sabrina) Cogar and Rebecca (Sammy) Griffith; former daughter-in-law Julianna Cogar; brother Scottie (Teresa) Cogar, grandchildren: Abbigaile Cogar, Braidyn Brady, Rowan and Jenevieve Cogar; his fur babies: Ellie, Bella and Mia; and many extended family and friends to mourn his passing.

Friends may join the family for visitation on Monday, March 2, 2026 from 6:00 to 7:00 PM at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home, Webster Springs.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Dodd & Reed Funeral Home, Webster Springs, to assist the family with costs.
