Devoe Casto

Devoe L. "Buck" Casto 69 of Pickens, WV died on Thursday, Sept. 13, 2012 at his home.  He was born in Pickens, Aug. 11, 1943, son of the late Devoe R. and Violet Helmick Casto.  He lived all of his life in Pickens and loved hunting, fishing and being in the woods. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son:  James Casto, one daughter:  Denise Casto, sisters:  Faye Lewis and Vera McIe, and brothers: Oran and Wayne Casto. He is survived by his wife:  Joan Gibson Casto of Pickens, daughters:  Amanda (Johnny) Cogar of French Creek, WV, Debra "Rose" Summers(Jeff McNeal) of Helevetia, WV, Carol (Loye) Roth of Selbyville, WV, and Barbara Durbin of Akron, OH, brothers:  Glenn Casto of Clarksburg, WV, sisters:  Hilma Lemons of Ellamore, WV, Judy (Charles) Cutlip of Webster Springs, WV, and Debra Baker of Akron, OH, grandchildren:  Nathann Cogar, Emma McNeal, Sarah Jones, Ashley Hines, Travis Roth, Joel Durbin, and Kailea Durbin, and great grandchildren:  Jalynn Hines and Jaxson Cutlip. Family will receive callers at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home, Saturday, Sept. 15, from 6-9 p.m.  In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Joan Casto, Rt. 1, Box 6A, Pickens, WV  26230  A memorial service will be held at a later date.
