Dennis O'Dell

Dennis Leon O’Dell, 71, of Webster Springs went to be with his Lord on Friday, May 31, 2019.

Born June 27, 1947 in Beckley, he was the son of the late Leon and Gladys Ruth (Janiga) O’Dell.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Steven; and his beloved dog, Dusty.

Dennis was a jack of all trades, even owning his own janitorial service.  He enjoyed flea marketing and collecting items, such as sports cards and rosebud tea figurines.  He was a mentor to his children, and many others, and a supporter of President Trump both now and during his presidential campaign.  He loved and enjoyed being with his grandchildren.  But, most of all, he was a soldier of Christ and a member of Word of Life Fellowship.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Dorene O’Dell; children, Cassandra (husband, Joseph) Gleese and their children, Rozlyn, Lyra, and Eugene, Belinda O’Dell and her children Liam, Ireland, and Abigail, and Brian (wife, Jackie) Cogar and their children Brian, Kaitlyn, and Leon; sisters Mechele Dawson and Mary (husband, Christopher) White; his beloved cat, Two Face; and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Friends may join the family for visitation 6-9pm Monday, June 3, 2019 at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home, Webster Springs.
