Delbert Lee Hamrick

Delbert Lee Hamrick, 61 of Fairmont passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at WVU Hospital Ruby Memorial.

He was born August 12, 1963 in Webster Springs to the late Wilson Murry Hamrick and Mabel Fisher Hamrick, who survives.

He was a carpenter by trade and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brothers: Harley Hamrick and David Hamrick; and sisters: Loretta Hamrick and Betty Jo Cumberledge.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother Mabel; son Delbert Edward “Eddie” Hamrick; brothers: Darrell, Roger, and Mike Hamrick; sisters: Cathy Jarvis, Rosemary Hamrick, Phyllis Payton, and Donna Jones; and several extended family and friends to mourn his passing.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, June 2, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home, Webster Springs, with Brother Mike Hamrick officiating. Interment will follow in Ware Cemetery, Hacker Valley.

Friends may join the family for visitation one hour prior to service time, from 12:00 to 1:00 PM, at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Dodd & Reed Funeral Home to assist with costs.
