Debbie Diane Phillips, 49 of Camden on Gauley passed away on Monday, October 28, 2013 at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley after an extended illness. She was born October 5, 1964 in Webster Springs to Sonny and Evalena Hamrick Phillips and was a homemaker. She was a lifelong resident of Webster County, enjoyed crocheting, sewing, and gardening, and was Baptist by faith.
Debbie is survived by her parents; daughter Johnna Phillips of Camden on Gauley; brothers Donald (Jennifer) Phillips of Mt. Nebo, Randall (Sue) Phillips of Craigsville, and Ralph "Buddy" Phillips of Cottle; sisters Lisa Hanna of Camden on Gauley and Donna (Craig) Brown of Summersville; and one grandchild. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Ira and Golda Hamrick and Orval and Pauline Phillips.
Friends may join the family for visitation on Friday, November 1, 2013 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home. Funeral Services to celebrate Debbie's life will be held on Saturday at 1:00 PM at the Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Williams officiating. Interment will follow in Miller Cemetery, Webster Springs.
