Debbie Kaye Cool

Debbie Kay Cool, 70 of Cowen, passed away Monday, August 11, 2025 at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown.

Debbie was born August 19, 1954 in Weston and was the daughter of the late Ernest and Eloise Davis Brown. Alog with her parent she was also preceded in death by her husband James “Bucky” Cool.

Surviving are her daughters, Karla Clutter and her husband Randy and Stephanie (Justin) Cool; brother, Gary Cutlip; grandchildren, Emma, Liam and Avah Prater and Eliana, Addisyn and Elijah Clutter; brother, Gary Cutlip; special friend & sister-in-law, Linda Cool and several nieces, nephews and extended family members.

She was the best Mom, Grandma and Mamaw.

Service will be 1:00 PM, Thursday, August 14, 2025 at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home, Webster Springs with Pastor Bryant Barnett officiating. Friends may join the family for visitation one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Private entombment will be at West Virginia Memorial Gardens, Calvin.
