Daniel Farrell Pritt, 47 of Grottoes, VA, previously of Webster Springs, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 16, 2014 at his home. He was born September 13, 1966 in Webster Springs to Kenneth F. and Bessie Ann Clifton Pritt and was a Railroad Engineer for Norfolk Southern Railroad. He attended Harrisonburg First Church of the Nazarene and enjoyed cars, woodworking, gardening, building things, chopping and splitting wood, and being outdoors.
Danny is survived by his parents; wife Lisa Cool Pritt; sons Brandon Nathaniel Pritt and Devin Farrell Pritt; daughter Danielle Kathy (husband Zachary) Mumbert; brother Dwayne Lee (wife Jennifer) Pritt; grandchildren Cameron, Chester, and Josiah; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his sister Katrina Pritt.
Friends may join the family for visitation on Friday, February 21, 2014 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home. Funeral Services to celebrate Danny's life will be held on Saturday at 12:00 noon at Upper Holly Church, Jumbo, with Rev. Curt Davis officiating. Interment will follow in McCoy Cemetery.
