Connie Carpenter

Connie Carpenter, 68, of Webster Springs, passed away in the comfort of her home on July 11, 2015 in the presence of her family.
Born June 9, 1947 in Webster Springs, she was the daughter of the late Willie and Cleo (Fox) Hamrick. In addition to her parents, Connie was preceded in death by her brother, Rocky Hamrick.
She attended the Elk Valley Chapel, Cherry Falls and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Connie also enjoyed watching Hockey, she was a former coach for the little league Hockey team and Softball team when she was an Ohio resident.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 48 years, Stephen Carpenter, Jr.; sons, Stephen Shawn Carpenter of Webster Springs and Dennis Carpenter (wife Lisa) of Toledo, OH; daughter, Julia Carpenter of Toledo, OH; grandchildren, Dennis Carpenter, Jr., Collen Carpenter, Adrianna Carpenter, Mackenzie Marshall, Lauren Marshall, Ava Ruffin, Alanna Ruffin, and Robert Ruffin, Jr., all of Toledo; brothers, Skeeter Hamrick (wife, Theresa), Cubb Hamrick (wife, Nancy), Bud Hamrick (wife, Carol), Richie Hamrick, and Steve Hamrick (wife, Theresa); sisters, Judy McCourt, Donna Lopez, Cindy Hamrick (husband, John) and Sheila Cool; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Services will be held 12Noon on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home, Webster Springs, with the Rev. Doy Carpenter officiating. Burial will follow in the Willie J. Hamrick Cemetery, Webster Springs.
Friends may join the family for visitation 7-9, Tuesday, July 14, 2015.
