Clyde Tanner

Clyde William Tanner, 74, of Diana went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley.

Born July 27, 1945 in Webster Springs, he was the son of the late Leslie Roy and Ida Mae (Lough) Tanner.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded  in death by nine brothers and one sister.

He enjoyed gardening, hunting, and ginsenging.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Donna Tanner of Diana; daughter, Shanna Cogar (husband, Clifford) of  Diana; son, Clyde Tanner, Jr. of Diana; three sisters, Elma Tucker, Evelyn Phillips, and Ella McCourt; and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

In keeping with Clyde’s wishes, no services will be held.
