Cletus Hall

Cletus J. Hall, age 80, passed away on Saturday, September 2, 2017.  Cletus was born and raised in Webster County. He graduated from Webster Springs High School in 1954. Cletus served in the United States Air Force as a radar operator, a role in which he was proud.  Upon returning from the Air Force, Cletus moved to Columbus to work for Western Electric. He retired after working 30 plus years at Western Electric (AT&T).

Cletus enjoyed his retirement by traveling, following NASCAR, and he loved to go four-wheeling. He was an avid reader, enjoyed Blue Grass music and was interested in history, especially West Virginia history.

Cletus is survived by his two children: son, Lyle C. Hall and daughter, Kimberley J. (John) Huber, their mother, Helen (Sears) Hall; one granddaughter; Ashley N. (Brandon) Cowan; and one great-granddaughter, Ainsley M. Cowan.

Funeral Services to celebrate Cletus’ life will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 1:00 at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home.  Relatives and friends may join the family from 11:00 to 1:00 on Saturday at the Funeral Home.  Cletus will be inurned in a private service at the West Virginia National Cemetery, 42 Veterans Memorial Lane, Grafton, WV.
