Clarence Danny Lynch

Clarence Danny Lynch, 81 of Webster Springs, passed away on Sunday, June 2, 2024 at his home with his loving wife, his sister-in-law Frances, and Pastor Shawn by his side. He was born January 21, 1943 in Richwood to the late Clarence and Helen O’Dell Lynch. He retired from the Public Service Commission after 40 years of service and attended First Baptist Church of Webster Springs.

Danny enjoyed riding his Harley Motorcycle and side by side; was an avid fisherman, enjoying Canadian fishing trips, liked a good argument, and enjoyed hunting, camping, boating, waterskiing, and was an avid WVU basketball and football fan; he loved NASCAR and hockey. He spent his time working on vehicles and tinkering on things and was a FORD man, never considering any other automaker. His greatest joy was spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, Danny was preceded in death by his brothers Cecil Ray Lynch and Ricky Lynch; brother-in-law James Paul Hamrick; and nephews Dana Lynch Jr. and Jay Lynch.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Nancy Hammon Lynch; brothers Frank (Frances) Lynch, Dana (Charolette) Lynch, and Jack (Barb) Lynch; sister Ruth Ann Hamrick; special niece Carla McCourt; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends to mourn his passing.

Memorial Services to celebrate Danny’s life will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home, Webster Springs, with Pastor Shawn Frame officiating. Friends may join the family for a time of gathering one hour prior to service time, from 12:00 noon to 1:00 PM at the Funeral Home.
