Chester Kermit Taylor 68 of Bergoo formerly of Nicholas Co. died Sept. 7, 2012 at Hubbard Hospice House in Charleston. He was born at Cleveland, OH, Feb. 16, 1944, son of the late Roland Edgar Taylor and Velva Kathleen Collins Taylor.
Chester was a former coal operator and enjoyed hunting, fishing, all outdoors sports, coin collecting.
Chester was of the Baptist faith. Surviving: wife: Joyce Lynn Wyatt Taylor; 4-sons: Randall E. (Nicki) Taylor of Craigsville; David T. (Serena) Taylor of Canvas; Craig A. (Kirissa) Taylor of Elkins; Shawn M. Sparks of Bergoo. 1-daughter: Crystall Ann Hamrick of Bergoo. grandchildren: Dakotah, Lindsay, Sydney, Ryan Chase, Jonathan Newsome, & Makenzie Faith Taylor. Service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home, Webster Springs with Rev. Bud Cochran officiating. Burial will follow at the Collins Cemetery, Fenwick Mountain. Friends will be received 6-9 p.m. Monday at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home. Military Honors will be given by VFW Post 3738, Webster Springs, WV
