Charlotte Adkins

Charlotte Lynn (Payne) Adkins, 66, of Webster Springs, WV, passed away on May, 14th , 2025, after a sudden illness.

Charlotte was born December 25th, 1958 in Webster Springs, WV, daughter of Arnold and Patricia Payne.

Charlotte graduated from Webster County High School in 1977, then went on to School of Practical Nursing earning a degree as a LPN.

Charlotte worked as an Assistant Activity Coordinator at Webster County Senior Center and as a Personal Care Provider for many years.

Charlotte especially loved spending time around her family, friends, being a Nana, and loved her fur babies Rascal, Clover, and Shadow.

Remaining to cherish Charlotte’s memory are son Cory Adkins (Brenna Craig), daughter Tracy (Dallas) Helmick; granddaughters Hollyn Helmick, Elyse Helmick, Josephine Helmick; sister Carol (Gary) Stout; and nephew Kole Payne.

Preceding Charlotte in death are father Arnold Payne, mother Patricia Payne, brother John (Poke) Payne, brother, Jimmy Payne, and niece Erica Payne.

There will be no services at this time. Private arrangements have been made by family.
