Charles Vernon “Charlie” Hamrick, 59 of Webster Springs passed away on Saturday, July 2, 2016 as a result of an accident. He was born March 12, 1957 in Webster Springs to Parris and Helen Utt Hamrick and was a United States Army Veteran, receiving his disability through the VA. Charlie was a kind-hearted person, always laughing, and was loved by everyone who knew him.
Charlie is survived by his parents; brother Parris D. Hamrick; sisters Stella Lee (Roger) Knight, Felicia Lawrence, and Ella Tanner; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends to mourn his passing.
Friends may join the family for visitation on Sunday, July 10, 2016 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home. Funeral Services to celebrate Charlie’s life will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home. Interment with Military Honors will follow in Cutlip Cemetery, Webster Springs.
