Charles Holt Green

Charles Holt Green, 64 of Hacker Valley, passed away Monday, July 14, 2025. Charlie was born December 7, 1960 and was the son of the late Jasper Sampson and Jessie Frazier Green. Along with his parents he was also preceded in death by his sister Patricia Payne and her husband Richard.

Charlie was a faithful member of the Bendertown Community Church. He was employed for 38 years at Northwest Hardwoods; Charlie enjoyed hunting, fishing, singing, playing guitar and enjoyed going to the beach. Charlie was a family man; he loved spending time with his family and having the big dinners for everyone that would come.

Surviving are his wife, Angela Bender Green; son, Chuck Green and his wife Jennese; siblings, Clarence, Frank and Tex Green and Eva Brady; grandchildren, Christoper, Faith, Noah, Austin, Ryker Green; great grandchildren, Allison, Liam, Malia and Natalie, many nieces, nephews, extended family members and many community kids that looked to him as Pawpaw, including Steve Jones, who he thought of as a son.

Service will be 1:30 PM, Sunday, July 20, 2025 at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home, Webster Springs with Pastor Cecil Williams, Pastor Curt Davis and Bro. James Bender officiating. Burial will follow at Cutlip Cemetery, Hacker Valley. Friends may join the family for visitation 6-9 PM Saturday evening at the funeral home.
