Carolyn Jean Riffle, 61 of Webster Springs passed away on Saturday, July 05, 2014 at her home with her family surrounding her. She was born September 23, 1952 in Youngstown, OH to George Junior and Delphia Lea Blankenship Sparks and was a sanitation worker for Wal-Mart. She enjoyed life and spending time with her family.
Carolyn is survived by her husband Truman Roosevelt Riffle, whom she married in the Cherry Falls Chapel; daughters Ellen Sue Morrison, Mary Louise Williams, and Kathy Lea Riffle, all of Webster Springs; brother Gary Lee Sparks of Webster Springs; sisters Ruth Clevenger and Ellen Ann Sparks, both of Webster Springs; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Delbert, George Steven, and Charles Sparks; sister Reva Dale Williams; and nephew Johnny Sparks.
Friends may join the family for visitation on Tuesday, July 08, 2014 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home. Funeral Services to celebrate Carolyn's life will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 PM at the Funeral Home with Rev. Doy Carpenter officiating. Interment will follow in Woods Cemetery, Webster Springs.
