Carol Maloney

Carol L. Maloney, 84 of Webster Springs, formerly of Lafayette, Indiana, passed away on Monday, August 18, 2014 at Webster County Memorial Hospital. She was born March 24, 1930 in Appleton to Edward and Harriett Higler Bartman and was a Physical Therapy Assistant and a CNA for over 40 years. She was an avid reader, enjoyed working puzzles and needlework, and was Catholic by faith.
Carol is survived by her children Edward (wife Mary) Thomack of Radcliff, KY, Jerry (wife Pamela) Thomack of Greenwood, IN, Carl (wife Bev) Thomack of Webster Springs, John (wife Justine) Thomack of Menasha, WI, Michael Thomack of Hilbert, WI, Kraig Thomack of West Lafayette, IN, Kevin (wife Lizabeth) Thomack of Southern Pines, NC, Ted (wife Kathy) Maloney of Oxnard, CA, John Maloney of West Lafayette, IN, and Vikki (husband Skip) Shaffer of Victorville, CA; brothers Joe Bartman and Pete (wife Sharon) Bartman of Appleton, WI; sister Joan (husband Bill) Thomack of Appleton, WI; 24 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband Alfred Thomack; second husband Robert Maloney; sons Royal, Robert, and Gerry Thomack; sister Peggy Bartman; grandson Michael Thomack; and granddaughter Maria Thomack.
Memorial Services will be held by the family at a later date. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans or the American Heart Association.
