Bobbie Clutter

Bobbie Edgar Clutter, 80 of Erbacon Rd., Cowen, WV, died on Friday, March 21, 2014 at Crestview Manor, Jane Lew, WV.  He was born in Webster County, WV, April 3, 1933, son of the late Oscar and Mary Perkins Clutter.  He was a veteran of the Korean War, serving with the U.S. Army.  He was a crane operator with Keyser Aluminum, Ravenswood, WV.  He had lived in Cowen for 26 years, was a member of Addison Lodge #116 AF & AM, Oddfellows, and Rebekka Lodge and was the former pastor of Emmanuel Apostolic Church, Bolair, WV.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother:  Nelson Clutter, and sisters:  Myrle, Myrtle, Jean and Bonnie.  He is survived by his wife:  Gatha Angeline Green Clutter of Cowen, sons:  Gail Clutter of Mt. Alto, WV, Richard Clutter of Columbus, OH, William Clutter of Diana, WV, and Larry Cogar of Rittman, OH, daughters:  Letha Cunningham of Akron, OH, and Nora Bender of Jumbo, WV, brothers:  Delmas Clutter of Bolair, WV, and Leroy Clutter of Diana, sisters:  Karen Green and Kathy Nichols both of Bergoo, WV, 10 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Services will be held on Tuesday, March 25, 2014, 2:00 p.m. at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home with Rev. Marvin Cline officiating.  Burial will follow the service in the Clifton Ford Cemetery, Webster Springs.  Friends may call from 6-9 p.m. on Monday, March 24, at the funeral home.
