Beulah Carpenter

June 8, 1939 — December 18, 2015

Beulah (Clutter) Carpenter, 76, of Webster Springs passed away on Friday, December 18, 2015 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.

She was born June 8, 1939 at Elk River to the late Herbert and Malinda (Carpenter) Clutter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lowell Carpenter; brothers, Robert Clutter, Carl Clutter, Lester Clutter and Buford Clutter; and sisters, Pauline McCourt and Lula Clutter.

She recently became a member of the Webster Springs Garden Club and enjoyed sewing, gardening, and feeding the birds and deer.  Beulah loved taking care of her animals and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a nurse’s aide at Webster County Memorial Hospital.

Beulah is survived by daughters Linda Kay Carpenter and Brenda (husband, Tom) Rule, both of Webster Springs; grandchildren Chelsea Nickoson, Misty Rule, and Valerie Rule; great-grandson Cameron Nickoson, all of Webster Springs; sister, Barbara Riffle of Huntington; her beloved pet cat, Pepper and community dog, Sandy; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Service will be held at at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Rounds officiating, burial will follow in Clifton Ford Cemetery, Webster Springs.

Friends may join the family for visitation 6-9, Monday night at the funeral home.
