Bessie Pritt

Bessie Ann Pritt, 74 of Webster Springs went home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 16, 2020 at Holbrook Healthcare Center. She was born in Webster County on July 2, 1946 to the late Minter S. and Daisy E. Skidmore Clifton and was a homemaker.

Bessie collected bears and dolls; enjoyed cooking, canning, and the holidays. She loved flowers, especially daisies, and was a devoted wife and mother. She was a Christian and attended Upper Holly Union Mission Church.

She is survived by her husband Kenneth; son Dwayne Lee (Jennifer) Pritt; grandchildren Brandon and Devin Pritt, Danielle Mumbert, Kyle, Keenan, and Kayla Pritt; five grandchildren; sister Leona McMullen; and several other extended family and friends who will mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son Daniel Ferrell Pritt; daughter Katrina Fay Pritt; sister Betty McCoy; and brothers Don Clifton and Leroy Clifton.

Friends may join the family for visitation on Friday, November 20, 2020 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home. Celebration of Life Services will be held on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home with Rev. Curt Davis officiating. Interment will follow in McCoy Cemetery, Jumbo.
