Bertha "June" Casto, 78 of Cleveland, passed from this life on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at her home. She was born February 6, 1936 in Diana to Stephen and Hazel Green Mollohan and was a lifelong resident of Webster County. She enjoyed traveling, cooking, quilting, sewing, gardening, and fishing. Mostly, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was Methodist by faith and attended Jerry's Run United Methodist Church. June worked for the Webster County Board of Education for 23 years as a Teacher's Aide in the Preschool and Kindergarten classes.
June is survived by her three daughters Barbara (husband Lonnie) McKinney of Roanoke, VA, Reta (companion Gary Cutlip) Evans of Sutton, and Lorraine Wong (husband Stanley) Cogar of Buckhannon; two sons Erwin (wife Ellen) Casto of Winchester, VA and Lonnie (wife Connie) Casto of Diana; one brother Perry (wife Norma) Mollohan of Point Mountain; 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and two special friends and caregivers Jerry and Sue Cowger of Cleveland. She was preceded in death by her husband Delbert Lane Casto; parents; two brothers Carl Mollohan and Steven Mollohan.
Friends may join the family for visitation on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home. Funeral Services to celebrate June's life will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 AM at Jerry's Run United Methodist Church with Rev. Chris Cosner officiating. Interment will follow in Radabaugh Cemetery, Replete. Memorial Contributions may be made to your local chapter of the American Cancer Society.
