Benedetti Irene Brooks Crouse, 43 of Elkton, VA passed away suddenly on Wednesday, April 25, 2012 in Charlottesville. She was born August 5, 1968 in Diana to Donald C. and Beatrice Brown Brooks of Diana. She moved to the Elkton area in 1997 and graduated from Massanutten Vo-Tech where she received her LPN degree. She worked for Sunnyside and Evergreen Nursing Homes in the area and most recently worked for Our Lady of Peace in Charlottesville. She enjoyed life, spending time with her family and friends, and was Christian by faith.
Benedetti is survived by her parents; husband Joseph Emory Crouse of Elkton; son Justin Crouse at home; brother Donald L. "Buddy" (Amber) Brooks of Diana; sisters Mary Lynn Brooks of Diana and Sharon Brooks (Kevin) Bibb of Oak Hill; nephews Roy Brooks and Ian Bibb; and many friends.
Friends may join the family for visitation on Sunday, April 29, 2012 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home with Rev. Curt Davis officiating. Interment will follow in McCoy Cemetery, Jumbo.
