Beatrice Ruth Brooks

Beatrice “Bea” Ruth Brooks, 78 of Diana was fully healed by her Savior and reunited with her daughter, Benedetti Irene on May 10, 2026.

She was born December 30, 1947 in Bergoo and was the daughter of the late Grover and Irene Barker Brown.

Bea was a Christian by faith. She loved teaching Sunday School where she ministered to and loved so many children. She was a current member of Union Valley Union Mission Church where she was the song leader for 30+ years. Her life was a living testimony of her love and devotion to her Jesus.

Bea married Donald on April 25, 1968, who she loved for 58 years. She is survived by her children: Donald (Amber) Brooks, Mary Lynn Brooks, and Sharon (Kevin) Bibb; grandchildren: Roy (Marial) Brooks, Justin Crouse, Joshua Bibb, Sara Bibb, and Ian (Madalyn) Bibb; great-grandson: Owen Donald Brooks; siblings: Benedetti (Arthur) Woods, Wilford (Connie) Brown, Harold (Angie) Brown; many special nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. A few faithful to her were Carol Green and Emilee Perrine.

The family would like to extend their since appreciation to Dr. Jessica Swank and the staff at Access Health Fayette Clinic who treated her with such care and compassion during her long illness.

Friends and family may join the family for visitation on Saturday, May 16, 2026 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home, Webster Springs.

Services to celebrate Bea’s life will be held on Sunday, May 17, 2026 at 2:00 PM at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home, Webster Springs, with Pastor Curt Davis officiating. She will be laid to rest in her beloved holler at Fisher Run Cemetery, Diana, with pallbearers: Buddy Brooks, Roy Brooks, Kevin Bibb, Ian Bibb, Dale Hall, and Ralph Tanner.
