Barbara Jo Hines, 85 of Webster Springs, passed away Friday, May 10, 2024. Barbara was born April 13, 1935, in Clarksburg and was the daughter of the late Henry and Fonda Cogar Mick. Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Harold "Sonny" Hines; sons, Timothy and Richard Hines; brother, Windel Mick, and sister in law Maxine Mick

She was a Christian by faith. Barbara retired from the Webster County DHHR; she enjoyed reading her Bible, keeping in touch with her family and friends on social media, and caring for her pet birds.

Surviving are her sister, Caroline Clayton and her husband Stanley; brother, David Mick; grandchildren, Tiffany Hatfield and James Hines, great grandchildren, Jessica, Leanna, and Elizabeth Long, Tera and Hillary Hines; sister in laws, Evelyn Mick, Geraldine Spinks, Ialene Brown and Bernadine Green and also several nieces and nephews.

Service will be 2:00 PM, Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at Dodd and Reed Funeral Home, Webster Springs with Pastor Jim Varney officiating. Private burial will follow at Cogar Cemetery , Desert Fork. Friends may join the family for visitation one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
