Arthur Elwood “Buddy” Campbell, Jr., 57 of Webster Springs passed away on Wednesday, November 08, 2017 at his home. He was born March 31, 1960 in Decatur, IL to Arthur Campbell and Nellie Tichner Green. He was a United States National Guard veteran who loved to hunt, fish, work, camp, and be outdoors.
Buddy is survived by his mother Nellie Green; longtime companion Susie Clayton; children Autumn Nichole Thomack, Dakota Arthur Thomack, Michael Damien Thomack, and Blaine Carl Thomack; granddaughters Stormy and Rebecca; brothers Tom (Edie) Tichner and Patrick (Lupe) Wolfe; sisters Beverly (Carl) Thomack and Kathy (Allen) Boggs; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members; and many, many friends that will truly miss him. He was preceded in death by his biological father Arthur Campbell and his father Harold Beale.
Friends may join the family for visitation on Saturday, November 11, 2017 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home. Funeral Services to celebrate Buddy’s life will be held on Sunday at 2:00 PM with Rev. Curt Davis officiating. Interment with Military Honors will be follow in Harrison Cochran Cemetery.
