Arnold Cogar

Arnold Roy Cogar, 88 of Lexington, TN passed away on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 in Jackson, TN. He was born April 13, 1930 in Webster Springs to Noah Cogar and Violet Cutlip Hamilton. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran, a retired supervisor for GE in Tiffin, OH, and an avid sportsman and excellent marksman.

Arnold was preceded in death by his parents and brother Carsey Cogar. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Lynne Cogar; two daughters Deb (husband Tom) Eyer and Vicky Renfro; step-son Steve Schinski; step-daughter Michele (husband Don) Griffith; four grandchildren, Jennifer (Ken) Kerr, Justin (Jennifer) Eyer, Matthew (Barb) Renfro, and Wesley (Shaun) Renfro; and seven great-grandchildren.

Friends may join the family for visitation on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home. Procession will dismiss to Dave Cogar Cemetery, Sugar Creek where Graveside Services will proceed with Rev. Curt Davis officiating. Military Honors to follow.
