Arnett Ray Williams, 74, of Webster Springs went home to be with the Lord December 18, 2018. Arnett was born June 16, 1944 in Braxton County and was the son of the late Everett and Mary Conrad Williams. Along with his parents, Arnett was preceded in death by his loving granddaughter, Amber Dawn Hollandsworth; brothers, Junior R. Williams, Gary D. Williams and Sonny Ratliff.
Arnett was a member of Elk Valley Chapel. He was a retired coal miner with 30 years of service; he loved hunting, fishing, and camping, spending time with his family, especially his granddaughters, Meredith and Amber, and was an avid WVU Mountaineer Fan. Arnett took pride in caring for his family; he loved the Lord and set a wonderful example for his loved ones.
Surviving are his loving wife, Barbara Enix Williams; daughters, Tina (Matt) Bullett and Tammy (Craig) Hollandsworth; granddaughter, Meredith Bullett; sisters, Audra Hamrick and Thelma Beverage; and also many nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
Services will be held 1:00 PM Friday, December 21, 2018 at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home, Webster Springs, with Pastor Kyle Hall and Bro. Doy Carpenter officiating. Burial will follow at Point Mountain Cemetery.
Friends may join the family for visitation two hours prior to the service.
