Anna B. Mustoe, 88 of Webster Springs, went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, July 09, 2014 at Webster County Memorial Hospital with her family around her. She was born December 10, 1925 in Braxton County to Alva and Ivy Payne Cogar and lived the majority of her life in Webster County. She was a retired Retail Clerk and a member of Retail Clerk Union. She attended Elk Valley Church and enjoyed going to church when she was able. She enjoyed cooking and baking, planting flowers, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Any day she spent with her family she considered to be a good day. Anna enjoyed taking care of her house and being a homemaker. She was a friend to many and will be missed by all who knew her.
Anna is survived by her sons John (wife Elaine) Mustoe and Dennis (wife Brenda) Mustoe, both of Webster Springs; daughters Karen S. Kinney and Cheryl (husband John) Hamrick, both of Webster Springs; brother Bob (wife Sharon) Cogar of Madison, Ohio; sisters Kathleen Markle of Webster Springs, Betty Cutlip of Bergoo; Mike (wife Polly) Cool, son of Ruth, of Madison, Ohio; grandchildren Todd, Heather, Nathan, Toby, Jenny, Nick, Andy, Nick, and Derek; ten great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; many special friends, family, and neighbors; and her loving companion, her cat "Sassy". She was preceded in death by her parents; sister Ruth Cool; and brother Ray Cogar.
Friends may join the family for visitation on Monday, July 14, 2014 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home. Funeral Services to celebrate Anna's life will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 AM with Rev. Doy Carpenter and Rev. Sam Nichols officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Webster Springs.
