Anna Mae Royce Lough, 87 of Portland, TN, formerly of Webster Springs, passed away on Monday, July 7, 2014 at Hendersonville Medical Center. She was born February 19, 1927 in Woalcott, IN to Roscoe and Emma Pearl Christenson Royce and was a Nursing Assistant for Church Home Hospital in Baltimore for 25 years. She attended Holly River Baptist Church and was Baptist by Faith.
Anna Mae is survived by her son Robert Cobbs of Portland, TN; sisters Erma Eberly of Sacramento, CA and Jeanett Whitson of Portland, TN; special friend Sandy Almada; dear friend and roommate Margaret; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Everett Lough; brothers Francis and Sonny Royce; and sister Juanita Sanford.
Friends may join the family for visitation on Friday, July 11, 2014 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home. Funeral Services to celebrate Anna Mae's life will be held at 11:00 with Rev. Scott Posey officiating. Interment will follow in Holly River Baptist Church Cemetery, Diana.
