Angel Dawn Collins, 42 of Webster Springs passed away on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at WVU Hospital, Ruby Memorial. She was born March 26, 1976 in Elkins to Tom and Brenda Carpenter Collins and was a lifelong resident of Webster County.
Angel was a nurse and loved taking care of people. She was a loving mom, foster parent, aunt, and friend to many. She loved to foster animals and cook. She enjoyed Facebook because it allowed her to keep in touch with friends during her illness. Angel was baptized at Elk Valley Chapel and served her Lord graciously. She was a Webster County High School graduate Class of 1994.
Angel is survived by her parents Tom and Brenda Collins; daughter Breanna Hawkins; son Marshall Hawkins; brother Tommy (wife Alicia) Collins and their son Chase; sister Amy McCoy; foster child Annie Markle; special friend Larry Clevenger; and many other extended family and friends who will mourn her passing. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Jack and Ann Collins and Ira and Coe Carpenter.
Friends may join the family for visitation on Saturday, October 27, 2018 from 3:00 to 5:00 PM at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home. Celebration of Life Services will be held at 5:00 PM at the Funeral Home with Pastor Doy Carpenter officiating. Interment will follow in Point Mountain Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Dodd & Reed Funeral Home to assist the family with funeral arrangements.
