Andrew Madison Claypool, 85 of Webster Springs passed away on July 18, 2011 at his residence. He was born May 11, 1926 in Hacker Valley, WV to Perry and Ivy Bosley Claypool and was a woodsman, carpenter and truck driver. He lived most of his life in Webster County and was Baptist by faith. He enjoyed sewing and quilting.
Andrew is survived by his wife Sarah Williams Claypool; daughters Shirley Brooks of Webster Springs, Lucille Skidmore of Sutton, and Cindy Farooq of Webster Springs; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may join the family for visitation on Thursday, July 21, 2011 from 11-1 at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM at the Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Dyer of Cowen officiating.
