Amelia Grace Shafer, precious infant of Daniel Lyn and Natasha Elizabeth Steele Shafer, went into the arms of our Lord on Wednesday, December 5, 2012. She was born March 22, 2012 in Beckley and was precious and dear to her family. Her short time here brought much joy and happiness to all who knew her and she will be missed greatly.
Amelia is also survived by her brother James Waylon Shafer at home; grandparents Donald and Shirley Shafer of Canvas and Lesa and Kelly Steele of Nettie; great-grandparents Wally and Patsy Bailes and Delma Bailes, all of Nettie; and several aunts and uncles.
Friends may join the family for visitation on Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at 7:00 PM at Jordan Chapel, Canvas. Funeral Services to celebrate Amelia's life will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 AM at the Church with Pastor Paul Mateer officiating. Interment will follow in Bailes Family Cemetery, Nettie.
