Alvy Adkins

Alvy "Dick" M. Adkins, 65 of Lorain, Ohio, formerly of Bellevue, passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2014 at his residence. He was born August 19, 1948 in Camden on Gauley to Charles Adkins and Betty Mahana Adkins Dillon. He worked as a general laborer in the manufacturing industry and enjoyed the outdoors.
Alvy is survived by his sisters Emily (Virgil) Chapman of Bellevue and Evelyn Darlene Berry of Mansfield, Ohio; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and five brothers.
Friends may join the family for visitation on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in Alex Williams Cemetery, Camden on Gauley.
