Alison Renee Cutlip Moats, much loved daughter, sister, mother and wife, 37 of Hacker Valley, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 8, 2012 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV.

She was born in Upshur County, WV, at St. Joseph's Hospital on November 27, 1974 to Janice Wilson Cutlip and the late John R. "Bob" Cutlip.  Alison attended Independent Baptist Church and was Christian by faith.  She worked as a CNA and also at Holly River Grocery.  She made jewelry in her spare time and loved her children.

Alison is survived by her beloved children, son:  Grant Moats, and daughter:  Malary Moats, former husband:  Kenneth "Marty" Moats all of Hacker Valley, mother:  Janice Cutlip of Diana, WV, and her only and beloved sister:  Michelle Barbe (Kimble Tanner) of Webster Springs, nieces:  Whitney Barbe (Tommy Young) , and Keylee Tanner, nephew:  Trey Tanner and great nephew:  Liam Young, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.  She was preceded in death by her dad and grandparents:  Oval & Roxie Wilson and John I. and Marion Hope Cutlip.

Dodd & Reed Funeral Home in Webster Springs will be in charge of services. Friends may join the family for visitation on Thursday, July 12, 2012, from 6:00 to 9:00 PM.  Funeral Services to celebrate Alison's life will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday at the Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Cosner officiating.  Interment will follow in the Hacker Valley Cemetery.
