Agatha "Kate" Lenore Claypool, 88 of Midlothian, Virginia, formerly of Bolair, passed away on Thursday, July 03, 2014. She was born November 08, 1925 in Arcola to Christopher and Pearl Morris Green and was a homemaker. She was Baptist by faith and enjoyed fishing, gardening, flowers, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Kate is survived by her son Delmas (wife Connie) Claypool and their son Jeff (wife Annette) Claypool all of Spencer; son James "Jim" (wife Libby) Claypool of Powhatan, VA and their children Jamie (husband Chris) Collier of Leland, NC and David Claypool of Washington, DC; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 61 years, Roy R. Claypool; three brothers; and two sisters.
Friends may join the family for visitation on Monday, July 07, 2014 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday at 10:30 AM at the Funeral Home with Rev. Marty Cowger officiating. Interment will follow in West Virginia Memorial Gardens, Calvin.
